The Role:

​

You will be working with disability claimants to discuss how their challenges affect their day-to-day life and using your clinical experience to write objective reports based on your findings. The reports are one of many pieces of evidence the DWP will use to ensure claimants are receiving the appropriate level of support.

​

There are several types of Nurse Disability Assessor roles that we recruit for across numerous clients. Depending on your preference and the current demand, you may be meeting people face to face, speaking on the phone or writing your reports based on case files and written medical evidence.

​

This is an excellent opportunity to expand your clinical skills, hone your report writing and develop your clinical reasoning, all whilst utilising your current knowledge in a new and rewarding way.

​

You will be working with people who have a range of physical and mental health challenges, some of which you may not be familiar with, so all of our clients offer a fully paid training programme to ensure you are up to speed and confident before starting.

​

The Requirements:

​

• 12+ months post registration experience as an RGN, RMN or RNLD

• Recent experience with a broad range of conditions in working-aged adults

• A current NMC pin with no restrictions

• Reasonable IT and typing skills

• An existing right to work in the UK

​
